Haircut

Man oh man, I took Jackson to get his hair cut about a week ago. He's had two haircuts already and was fine at both of them. The first time he just sat on my lap and seemed confused about what was going on, he never cried or fought the hair cut. The second hair cut he was a bit more animated. He kept trying to get the comb or the scissors, but stayed relatively still for the whole cut.

This haircut?? Total different story. Right from the beginning he was worked up about it. He cried the entire time, tried to grab the scissors, try to shove the hair cutter's hands away, tried to bury his head in my neck, tried to shake his head so she couldn't cut it, kicked his legs and flailed his arms. By the time the hair cut was done we were both covered in hair. It was all over my legs, arms, and neck. It was all over Jackson! Plus because he'd been so worked up it was a nasty coating of hair covered snot all over his face. It was quite the ordeal.
